Just a quick update on plans for the upcoming International Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) Summit to be held Feb. 8 – 10, 2016, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Nearly 600 abstracts were received and the programme for the conference is now being built around the abstracts selected. Many thanks if you submitted an abstract.
The lineup of keynote speakers is also taking shape. Those confirmed include:

Registration closes Dec. 31.
Please be mindful of Ethiopian immigration policies and the time it may take to get a visa. Once you have registered, you will be sent an invitation letter and be asked to complete a secure online form with details for Ethiopia’s immigration officials. Visa information can be accessed here.
The prime organizer of this conference is our partner, Health Communication Capacity Collaborative (HC3), a USAID initiative managed by Johns Hopkins University’s Centre for Communication Programs. The Communication Initiative is part of the Steering Group for this event.
