The International Communication and Social Transformation Forum
The International Communication and Social Transformation Forum is a project developed within the International Professors Project network. Communication and collaboration is fostered between communication and media specialists, both academics and professionals. We will consider the interrelationship between communication and globalizing forces and how these impact upon communities and national societies with diverse social, political, economic and cultural experiences. This project is in its infancy and will continue to evolve in response to suggestions from, and discussions between, participants.
The International Communication Forum includes and is seeking, on an ongoing basis, the following participants:
  • researchers of media and communication;
  • private industry, government or NGO practitioners;
  • active and retired professors or professionals; and
  • graduate students and college seniors involved in communication for social transformation research or projects.
The purpose of our interdisciplinary group is to encourage collaboration and sharing of knowledge, information and experiences. We welcome colleagues from all related disciplines, including but not limited to:
  • Journalism
  • Public Relations
  • Advertising and Marketing Communications
  • Script and Creative Writing
  • Media Production – Radio, Television, Digital Media
  • Film and Broadcasting
  • Intercultural Communication
