Journal of Contemporary Media and Communication Research
Call for Papers
The Indian Association of Media and Communication Educators (IAMCE) is delighted to announce the Call for Papers for the first issue of the Journal of Contemporary Media and Communication Research (JCMCR), a platform that is as stimulating and exciting as the discipline it aims to study.
JCMCR is an open-access, peer-reviewed and scholarly publication of IAMCE with a frequency of two issues a year (June and December). It provides a forum for comprehensive research, commentary and critique on contemporary subjects in media, communication and related fields. Its objective is to further research and encourage diverse ways of thinking on any aspect of media and communication studies including but not limited to media studies, cultural studies, film studies, popular culture, digital media, media policy, journalism studies, branding and consumption cultures, media technologies, and media education. We invite contributions that address this landscape. The journal welcomes research papers, book reviews and commentaries.
The journal will publish general as well as themed issues in the future. JCMCR also aims to work on special issues that address the contemporary media and communication discourses in the Indian context, in particular, in addition to conversations on conceptual, theoretical and methodological approaches.
