Invitación a enviar artículos para la edición temática sobre periodismo digital
Los avances tecnológicos han llevado al replanteamiento de la profesión periodística que, nunca como hoy, se ha visto enfrentada a la inmediatez y a la ubicuidad de la información, a la irrupción de las audiencias en la producción de contenidos y en el señalamiento de la agenda mediática, y a la multiplicidad de posibilidades que ofrece la convergencia de plataformas y lenguajes, por mencionar sólo algunas de las características de este nuevo entorno.
Por esta razón, la revista Palabra Clave invita a la comunidad académica al envío de artículos para su tercer número del año 2013, cuya temática estará orientada a reflexionar acerca del Periodismo Digital, su futuro y sus retos, a partir de los siguientes ejes:
Periodismo participativo, audiencias y redes sociales.
La reinvención del lenguaje y las narrativas periodísticas en ambientes digitales.
Recepción y audiencias.
El consumo de noticias digitales y la credibilidad de los medios on line.
La ética periodística en la era digital.
Impacto de las tecnología en la profesión periodística. Modificación de las rutinas, las competencias y las condiciones laborales del periodista.
Los textos para participar en este número se recibirán hasta el próximo 1 de julio de 2013.
Palabra Clave recibe textos en español, inglés y portugués. De igual modo, reseñas –de libros recientes– y traducciones dentro de la temática del número.

Invitation to Submit Articles to a Special Upcoming Edition of Palabra Clave on Digital Journalism
Technological developments have led to a rethinking of journalism, which faces challenges –more than ever before– concerning immediacy, the ubiquity of information, the emergence of audiences in the production of content, the media agenda setting, and the wealth of possibilities offered by the convergence of platforms and languages, to mention just some of the features of this new environment.
For this reason, Palabra Clave invites the academic community to submit articles for its third issue of 2013, which will discuss “Digital Journalism”, its future and its challenges, based on the pivotal points listed below:
Participatory journalism, audiences and social networks.
The reinvention of journalistic language and narratives in digital environments.
Reception and audiences.
The consumption of digital news and the credibility of online media.
Journalistic ethics in the digital age
The impact of technology on the journalistic profession.
Changes in the journalists’ routines, skills and working conditions.
Full articles must be received no later than July 1, 2013 to be considered for this issue.
They will be submitted for double-blind peer evaluation pending publication in December 2013.
Palabra Clave receives articles in Spanish, English and Portuguese, in addition to book reviews (of recently published books) and translations of texts consistent with the subject matter of this edition.
