WJEC invites interested presenters to electronically submit abstracts only (minimum 500 words; maximum 800 words) by 1 December 2012. The abstracts should give a clear sense of the scope of the research, research objectives and method of inquiry. If researchers have completed their projects by the submission deadline, paper abstracts should also include research results and conclusions/discussion.

Call for reviewers – deadline 8 December 2012

For the WJEC to run a successful paper competition, we need your assistance in reviewing paper abstracts (minimum 500 words). These will be available electronically after the December 1, 2012 submission deadline.
If you can serve as a paper reviewer, please e-mail Elanie Steyn (elanie@ou.edu) .Note, however, that if you plan to submit a paper abstract, you cannot also serve as a paper reviewer.

WJEC-3 Ignite – deadline 4 January 2013

At this year’s WJEC-3 we’re seeking the most innovative teaching ideas….so we present “WJEC-3 Ignite” – where you can share your best classroom project/exercise/ideas.  Following the traditional “ignite” format, presenters get 5 minutes and 20 slides to share their passionate teaching idea.  The ten best “ignite” ideas will be selected to make their presentations “live” at WJEC-3.
