Fordham University invites applications for Chair of its Department of Communication and Media Studies.  The department, serving three campuses, is currently in an exciting process of growth, including curricular revision and expansion of undergraduate and graduate programs.  With administrative support and new resources, the successful applicant as Chair will facilitate the Department’s increasing distinction within Fordham, in New York City, and nationally as a center of education, scholarship and civic engagement.  The position requires a Ph.D. in communication, media studies, or related area; excellent teaching; distinguished scholarship; significant administrative experience; and dynamic academic leadership.  For complete job description, see http://bit.ly/forch.
