THE C-CHANGE PROGRAMME
Communication for Change (C-Change), implemented by AED and partners, is USAID’s flagship programme to improve the effectiveness and sustainability of social and behaviour change communication (SBCC) as an integral part of development efforts in health, the environment, and civil society. C-Change works with global, regional, and local partners to use communication to change individual behaviours and social norms, supported by evidence-based strategies, training and capacity building, and research. In fostering the sustainability of programmes, C-Change works on engaging and strengthening existing institutions and social networks and building strong coalitions to support programme growth. The ultimate goal is the improved health and well-being of people in the developing world.

YOUR FEEDBACK SOUGHT – H1N1 BEHAVIOURAL INTERVENTIONS
In June 2009, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the World Health Organization (WHO) jointly published a document: Behavioural Interventions for Reducing the Transmission and Impact of Influenza A (H1N1) Virus: A Framework for Communication strategies (see http://www.comminit.com/en/node/307108/3076). Spanish, French, and Arabic versions are also available.
This document was intended to support the development of communication interventions, activities, and messages to reduce the spread and impact of the pandemic H1N1 2009 virus.
To better understand how UNICEF and WHO can support country-level communication planning and implementation in the future, both agencies would very much appreciate your feedback on this resource. Please participate in the survey even if you have not seen or used the document.
The survey, which should take less than 10 minutes to complete, will be analysed by an external consultant to both agencies. Replies are anonymous and will be treated confidentially. Only aggregated data will be shared.

C-CHANGE CAPACITY STRENGTHENING ONLINE RESOURCE CENTER (CSORC)

The CSORC provides resources, information, and opportunities to strengthen capacity in social and behaviour change communication (SBCC). Its development is led by C-Change partner Ohio University in cooperation with The CI. CSORC provides a C-Change-approved collection of SBCC strategies, tools, applications, and support and dialogue opportunities. The CSORC is set up as a one-stop shop to facilitate knowledge generation, research, design, and implementation of SBCC programmes. It is a centralised repository of resources that C-Change has identified as providing information about SBCC strategies and approaches that have successful track records. There are links to dialogues, networks, and information on training and other opportunities such as internships, fellowships, and mentoring that build on existing SBCC capacities. The information is segmented by region and topic to provide quick access to the relevant resources and opportunities.
The Core Resources section reflects the central competencies in C-Change’s approach to capacity strengthening training and its SBCC training modules. C-Change has reviewed and vetted these resources to ensure they are of high quality and relevant for developing skills in each area of competency. The resources listed within each competency area can be used for individual research and skill development or by trainers in courses they offer.
