Official launching of “Cuba under Socialism, in the voice of its own people» by the Center for Research and Cuban Studies with the acronym in Spanish C.I.E.C., in the city of Miami.

By this means, we are informing the media, the international public opinion, and our compatriots and friends for the freedom of Cuba, that the Center for Research and Cuban Studies with the acronym in Spanish C.I.E.C., has been constituted here in the city of Miami; with the purpose of working in the collection, processing and documentation of all the testimonies and material needed for our project: “Cuba under Socialism, in the voice of its own people.”

This new project is divided into three fundamental guidelines: The publishing of a book that will include thousands of written testimonies given voluntarily by people who have worked, got an education and lived through the experience of the socialist regime in Cuba, a video library intended for those who wish to give their videotaped testimonies and a synthesized version of each case will be placed on our Web site.

Lanzamiento oficial de “Cuba bajo el Socialismo, en la voz de su propio pueblo” por el Centro de Investigación y Estudios Cubanos (C.I.E.C.) con sede en la Ciudad de Miami.

Por este medio, estamos informando a los medios de prensa, a la opinión pública internacional, y a nuestros compatriotas y amigos de la libertad de Cuba, que ha quedado constituido en esta ciudad de Miami, el Centro de Investigación y Estudios Cubanos (C.I.E.C.), con el objetivo de trabajar en la compilación, procesamiento y documentación del material necesario para la elaboración de “Cuba bajo el Socialismo, en la voz de su propio pueblo”.

Este nuevo proyecto, está subdividido en tres direcciones fundamentales: la publicación de un libro impreso que recogerá a miles de testimonios ofrecidos voluntariamente por personas que trabajaron, se educaron y vivieron la experiencia del régimen socialista en Cuba; una videoteca dirigida a aquellas personas que deseen exponer sus casos ante el lente del video y una versión sintetizada de cada caso que será colocada en nuestro Sitio de Internet.
