| November 2025 Dear MEA Community,November is a month often associated with reflection and gratitude. We at the Media Ecology Association are especially thankful for our growing community. This month’s newsletter is filled with reasons to be be thankful: newly elected board members, collaborative publications expanding our reach across languages and borders, and an the continuation of an active, thoughtful community engaging deeply in our newly launched Media Ecology Book Club. Gratitude, in the media ecological sense, is not just personal. Gratitude is environmental. It is about acknowledging the shared contexts that allow our ideas to take root and flourish. Whether you joined us in Rio, Mexico City, have published in our journal Explorations in Media Ecology, or even attended a virtual event, you are an important part of an evolving ecology of thought that is shaping new conversations in our field. This November, we give thanks for every contribution. We thank you for every question raised, connection formed, and insight shared. And we invite you to continue this journey with us as we cross borders, both literally and conceptually. — Tiffany Petricini |
