The M.S. in Media Studies Program in the Department of Television, Radio & Emerging Media at Brooklyn College of CUNY seeks a part-time faculty member to teach a graduate course: TREM7714X Critical Analysis of Media on Wed. evenings (6:30-9:00pm) in Spring, 2022. Catalog description: ?Textual and analytical approaches the scholarly study of media. Survey of the most significant Marxist, structuralist, semiotic and formalist readings of media over the past one hundred years.? Sample syllabi are available.
The Spring, 2022 semester runs from January 28 ? May 24, 2022, and the course will likely run as a hybrid course, with meetings at our 25 Broadway campus in Manhattan.
Interested candidates should have at least an earned master´s degree in media/communications or a related field. Doctoral candidates and A.B.D. welcome to apply.
