12,784 San Diego State University, The Binational Association of Schools of Communication (BINACOM)

The Binational Association of Schools of Communication (BINACOM) will be hosting an Encuentro at San Diego State University on April 22-24, 2016.

This binational conference brings together professors and students from the U.S. and Mexico border region to present research projects and learn about new trends happening in the industry through a variety of keynote talks, panels and workshops during the three-day event.

This year’s conference theme is on Digital Communication: Transformations, Innovations and New Directions.

Keynote speakers include Octavio Islas, Director del Centro de Altos Estudios en Internet y Sociedad de la Información, Quito, Ecuador, and Dr. Joseph Straubhaar, Amon G. Carter Centennial Professor of Communications in the Department of Radio-TV-Film at The University of Texas at Austin.
