Full-time Post Doctoral Research Position in PMR Communications @ CTTC- Castelldefels-Barcelona, Spain
The Access Technologies (AT) research area of the Centre Tecnològic de Telecommunications de Catalunya-CTTC (http://www.cttc.es) invites applications for a full-time post-doctoral researcher in the area of Professional Mobile Radio (PMR) communication and networks. Candidates must have received , or expect to receive soon a Ph.D. in EE, CS or related fields.
*Applicant Profile:*
The post-doctoral researcher is expected to pursue fundamental research on various aspects of wireless Professional Mobile Radio (PMR) communications relate with EC-funded project ICT-EMPhAtiC <http://www.ict-emphatic.eu> and should have enough knowledge on the specification of current cellular-type mobile communications (LTE, WiMAX …, at least one), strong record in scheduling and RRM in cell based, in relay (Single or multiple relays, single or multi-user) and in two way relaying possibility demonstrated through high-quality publications.
The candidates with expertise and strong publication record on optimization tools as Lagrangian, Interior point, Subgradient, and dual decomposition methods will be considered with priority. Good English writing skills and ability to integrate multi-disciplinary teams will benefit the candidates.
*Conditions:*
Contract duration is 24 months, renewable on a yearly basis subject to performance. The salary is 32,000 Euro.
