Worlds of Journalism Project
The School of Communications at Dublin City University invites applications for a full-time, three-year, funded PhD studentship.
The studentship provides for a €12,000 annual stipend, plus fees waiver.

The Irish component of the Worlds of Journalism study is led by Professor Paschal Preston, Dr. Kevin Rafter, and Dr. John O Sullivan.
As part of their studies the doctoral student will be expected to provide assistance to the research team on the Worlds of Journalism study in terms of defined quantitative and qualitative research.
The successful candidate will have a good first degree in the social sciences or arts and humanities (2.1 or better). Candidates would normally be expected to have a Masters degree in a related area, with experience in research methods at that level, but we will also consider candidates with a strong first degree.

Successful candidates will be expected to undertake some teaching duties
