>From the backside:
Picton – a scenic rural town in the heartland of Ontario; a small town with the usual characters, the usual complaints. Running through Delhi Park, the major park in town and the site of the old town dump, is a creek which passes through a cemetery, and receives run-off from a waste treatment plant before draining into once-busy Picton Harbour. Delhi Creek also supplies a small pond in which a colony of beavers make their home.
What evil lurks in the hearts of mutant Beavers?
How will the townspeople cope with a horde of mutant Beaver?
Who will save the day?
Why would anyone possibly read this trash?
The Mutant Beavers of Delhi is a short story set in a highly fictionalized Picton, Ontario, featuring many once-familiar people and places warped by a convalescent mind. Certainly the first, and likely the last book of its kind to come out of Prince Edward County.
Come to the launch for a reading from the book, light snacks (possibly including the Mutant Beaver cocktail), live d.j., and the awarding of the Beaver Tail Fanny Pack! Sure to be an entertaining event.
Note: This is a limited edition of 100 copies. 50 copies may be purchased before the launch but cannot be shipped or picked up until July 7th. Copies will be $10 (tax included).
Note further: This story contains material that will likely offend some, and downright piss some people off. I’m publishing it anyway.
Note furthest: My bookseller advises that in the unlikely event that advance sales meet the limit of 50 copies, I must increase the edition to 150.
