The Pew Research Center on hyperconnected millennials has an interesting conclusion on the internet effect by John Smart, president and founder of the Acceleration Studies Foundation with reference to the» Kuznets curve», which is new to me. It says the first generation tech usually causes ‘net negative’ social effects; the second-generation ‘net neutral effects’ and by the third generation is a ‘net positive effect.’ This interests me in general terms concerning all media. Are there any equivalent studies of this three-generation-phenomenon?
