About Howard Rheingold
Howard Rheingold is a writer, teacher and speaker, currently teaching at Stanford University. He is the author of the recent acclaimed book «Net Smart: How to Thrive Online.» Most of his books have been praised as prescient forecasts of the technological revolutions that have since come to pass. Howard was the editor of the «Whole Earth Review» and the «Millennium Whole Earth Catalog,» founding executive editor of «HotWired,» the pioneering webzine from Wired Magazine, founder of Electric Minds, named by Time magazine as one of the ten best websites of 1996. He has taught at the UC Berkeley School of Information, was visiting professor at De Montfort University in the UK, and was the invited Regents Lecturer at UC Berkeley in 2012.
