Rural Colombia: The Potential for the Future

Plans for the El Quimbo Hydroelectric Project Plant have been put forward  to encourage international investment in Colombia and been sold to the public as part of a national plan for energy security. Development projects such as this are rarely present in the national and international media, but have transformed the lives of many Colombians living in rural areas.
